Visitors who have work purchased from Collier Art Corporation should find the following information of interest - with thanks to Maureen Leuallen:

Collier was an Art Auction house that did Auctions for fund raising. Much the same as Robert Sills Gallery and Patrician Art Gallery. They operated in the 70's and early 80's. Most of their auctions were at military installations, churches, synagogues, etc. Sills was the first in the industry (they were in LA and Chicago), then Collier opened. Sills sold to Patrician in 79 or 80. I worked for Sills in Chicago. The auctioneers went from one company to another.

    Important - Read This:

"I recently came across this website. I found the postings regarding the artist Rabindra. Some of the info posted here is correct and some is incorrect. I am in contact with Rabindra and asked for his permission to clear up the misinformation and it was granted, so here I am. Rabindra is Scottish.

He is NOT a deceased cancer victim as one person posted. He IS very much alive and well and still working. He is still creating art, writing books, making music, and having fun. He is not on hard times. Instead he is enjoying success as a multi-faceted artist.

In all, he has written at least 8 books, recorded 5 albums and 3 cds. He no longer resides in America. He is alive and well and happy and still creating. Hope this helps to clear up some of the mystery and also enlightens those who thought he was dead or a recluse. Happily, he is neither. He requested I not give out his addresses. Sincerely, Zen"

We have received a number of requests for information about artist Jack Bullard over the past few years. Sadly, however, Martin Linex writes that "He passed away Nov. 18, 2005 at his Daughters Home in CO. where he moved to about 6 months ago. If anyone has any of his paintings, guard them. I have several of his western, Indian and a couple of private paintings that were gifts to me from him. One of me flying my airplane and one of a jet flying done around 1963 that is chalk on felt. He did it when I was 9 years old and give it to me. I grew up around Jack and know quite a bit about his younger days. Jack and my dad were close friends."
