Visitors who have work purchased from Collier Art Corporation should find the following information of interest - with thanks to Maureen Leuallen:
Collier was an Art Auction house that did Auctions for fund raising. Much the same as Robert Sills Gallery and Patrician Art Gallery.
They operated in the 70's and early 80's. Most of their auctions were at military installations, churches, synagogues, etc.
Sills was the first in the industry (they were in LA and Chicago), then Collier opened. Sills sold to Patrician in 79 or 80.
I worked for Sills in Chicago. The auctioneers went from one company to another.

| There seems to be a fair amount of interest in art work by "Rabindra", and
some of our visitors have pieces for sale. If you are interested in these works, search
for the artist's name on this page and send an e-mail to cowboyartshow.com, using
the e-mail form on this page if you wish. You'll be put in touch with the painting(s)'s owner(s).1-31-05:
Important new information has been added at #31.
11-12-05: "In the 1970's I lived in California. I also collected
hippo art. I went to a show where Rabindra was displaying, and bout at least seven of his line prints that contained
hippos as well as other animals with them. I would love to let him know how much I have enjoyed them over the years as
well as my friends. They are on prominent display in our house. I would love to buy more. Thank you, Anthony". [if this is of interest to you, contact
cowboyartshow.com and your information will be forwarded to Anthony][June 5, 2007: Rabindra read your note, Anthony, and would like you to contact him]
Important - Read This:"I recently came across this website. I found the postings regarding the artist Rabindra. Some of the info posted here is correct and some is incorrect. I am in contact with Rabindra and asked for his permission to clear up the misinformation and it was granted, so here I am.
Rabindra is Scottish. He is NOT a deceased cancer victim as one person posted. He IS very much alive and well and still
working. He is still creating art, writing books, making music, and having fun. He is not on hard times. Instead he is
enjoying success as a multi-faceted artist.
In all, he has written at least 8 books, recorded 5 albums and 3 cds. He no
longer resides in America. He is alive and well and happy and still creating. Hope this helps to clear up some of the
mystery and also enlightens those who thought he was dead or a recluse. Happily, he is neither. He requested I not give
out his addresses. Sincerely, Zen"
Interest in the work of Frank Murdoch has been the impetus for his family to develop a web site about the
late artist. You will find these web pages very interesting, so see #16 for the site link.

| We have received a number of requests for information about artist Jack Bullard over the past few years.
Sadly, however, Martin Linex writes that "He passed away Nov. 18, 2005 at his Daughters Home in CO. where he moved to about
6 months ago. If anyone has any of his paintings, guard them. I have several
of his western, Indian and a couple of private paintings that were gifts to
me from him. One of me flying my airplane and one of a jet flying done around
1963 that is chalk on felt. He did it when I was 9 years old and give it to me.
I grew up around Jack and know quite a bit about his younger days. Jack and my
dad were close friends."
cowboyartshow.com has had some recent activity requesting information about Mark Irons' work.
We are very interested in receiving any information available which could put
us into contact with him, so that our visitors looking for information about his work, especially
about where they could purchase his art, could be provided that information.

Collier Art Corporation. I have a certified "original" seemingly from a French artist (Laurent) who lived in the late

No flowers in the picture. It is a winter, snowy scene of Hon buildings. Relative to other pictures of Hon Harbor it looks
authentic, but looks too new for the stated artist's lifespan.

3-13-09: I have a framed piece called "The WInner" signed & numbered A/P by Misha. Misha Moracha was
born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1944. He enrolled in art school at sixteen on the advice of his high school teachers
who complained his sketching and drawing during school hours distracted their classes. In 1962 Misha's father took
him to Paris to see the Louvre and there Misha met the Parisian master Marco Chelebonovich. Chelebonovich
recogniged Misha's talent and counseled him to stay in Paris to further his studies. It was with this encouragement
that Misha moved to Paris in 1967, where he studied painting with several Parisian artists, philosophy at the Sorbonnne,
and in the grand French artistic tradition, lived a Bohemian lifestyle, trading portraits for a sandwich and coffee and
painting on the pavements for small change from passer-by's.
Master etcher Misha Moracha brings us a varied scope of images sometimes humerous. Misha has a unique use of shapes and
color. Misha has employed many mediums but prefers graphics. He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bellgrad,
Yugoslavia. Also, years of study in Paris with other artists. Misha studied at the Art Center for Design in Los Angeles;
Misha came to the U.S. in 1969.
Etching - An intaglio printing process in which an etching needle is used to draw into a wax ground applied over a metal plate. The plate is then submerged in a series of acid baths, each biting into the metal surface only where unprotected by the ground. The ground is removed, ink is forced into the etched depressions, the unetched surfaces wiped, and an impression is printed. Also, both the design etched on a plate and an impression made from an etched plate. Too often confused with engraving. A separate plate is used for each impression or color.

1. Just recently I purchased a watercolor painting by CR Smith, 1974 of an
Indian Warrior sitting on a grazing horse. Please do not mistaken this painter with
the famous western art collector and aviation pioneer "CR Smith" of American
Airlines...I don't believe it is him, I've compared the signatures on the painting
to an American Airline document.
2. Last year I purchased an oil painting by Sharyn Perinar, (painted in 1970 - 1989),
painting named "Wagon Boss". It came with her business card: Sharyn Perinar,
Western Artist, 3316 Caroline Drive, Joliet, IL 60435, 815-436-4913. I've
called the phone# and the woman who answered has had the # for 18 years and has
never heard of Perinar.
If anyone has information about these two western artists, please contact me.
I will PayPal $25 to the first person who sends me correct, verifiable information.
Thank you, Catrina.

a water color by artist EDA. The registered number on the certificate is #4009-90. On the front of the print in pencil
bottom left corner is #265-5oo. I am interested in knowing the value of this piece or any information of the artist and year.

(251) 11-26-06: Lithograph of cowboy showing woman how to shoot a rifle -
I don't know the artist, but saw a print in a gallery (since gone out of business) that I really liked, but have
not been able to locate. I thought the litho was called "The Lesson" or "The Shooting Lesson", but am not positive.
The couple (dressed in what would be mid-1800's clothing) are standing out in a field, the woman shouldering the rifle,
getting ready to "sight" a target. The man is standing next to her, seemingly giving instructions. Thanks to whoever
can help - Karen.
